Unlike other systems in which imbalance occurs without warning Lektriever prevents the possibility of carrier imbalance by providing text and audible warnings when the unit reaches 80% of capacity. The console will automatically display the range of carriers requiring weight adjustment.

The Lektriever is fully-interfaceable to a PC without expensive upcharges. Lektriever's IMMS software (provided at no extra charge with the purchase of an interface converter) allows you to use a PC to "drive" the Lektriever with accuracy and control:
o Reduce search time by tracking the location of any file or other item stored in the Lektriever - even when the file or item is removed from the system.
o Locate files quickly and reduce misfiles by automatically rotating the Lektriever to the desired carrier in the fastest possible time.
o Improve accuracy and reduce keystrokes with product bar code data verification.
o Request multiple items at one time with batch requests (the next item to be removed or replaced will be identified on the operator console's display).
o Manage information and materials flow by tracking where files or items are, where they've been, and who has accessed them.
o Interface with other software programs using import and export database functions.
